NFPA’s technical committee on Hybrid (Water and Inert Gas) Fire Extinguishing Systems is meeting in Denver, Colorado now through Wednesday, September 18th.
The committee is following NFPA’s Standards Development Process. Milestones that mark the committee’s progress after the conclusion of this second draft meeting are:
Second Draft Report Posting Date: January 22, 2020
Motions Committee Report (NITMAM)
NITMAM Closing Date: February 19, 2020
NITMAM Posting Date: April 1, 2020
Should no NITMAM’s be posted, this new standard could be released in the Spring of 2020. If NITMAM’s are posted, then the release date would be after the NFPA Annual meeting in June of 2020.
