AND I’M SUPER-JAZZED TO INTRODUCE YOU TO A DEAR FRIEND AND FELLOW ROTARY CLUB OF DES MOINES ROTARIAN WHO IS GOING TO BE HEADING UP THAT EFFORT. HER NAME IS CLAUDIA SCHABEL WITH SCHABEL SOLUTIONS BASED HERE IN DES MOINESl.

NFPA 770 Standard on Hybrid (Water and Inert Gas) Fire Extinguishing Systems is published! August 28, 2020

The NFPA has released the first edition of a new technical standard: NFPA 770 Hybrid (Water and Inert Gas) Fire Extinguishing Systems. The creation process for this standard dates back to 2013 when NFPA’s Standards Council solicited interest in and support for such a standard.
The technical committee was formed and held its first meeting in September of 2016. It followed NFPA’s Standards Development Process as shown in the graphic.

District Governor Erna’s focus on food insecurity and hunger issues continues with a personal touch in this episode of All Around Rotary.
Past-president Shawn Mullen and wife Sharilynn’s daughter, Annastasia, is our guest in her role as Director of Communications for the National Farm to School Network. She’s passionate about the very issues that DG Erna has brought into focus during her leadership year. Anna is a graduate of Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska with a double major in religion and communications and holds a Master of Divinity degree from Harvard’s Divinity School.
